Pizza Hut, the American restaurant chain, is set to close 29 out of its 244 job cuts, which might mean 450 job cuts.
Talks are underway to make a deal with creditors after the food chain was hit due to the coronavirus pandemic. As sales in Pizza Hut have dramatically fallen, the chain aims to restructure.
It is the most recent brand company which has planned to downsize the personnel; however, this will not impact Pizza Hut Delivery.
The government plan to offer half-price meals to customers only ended last week. While the finance from the government is shrinking, food-related businesses will have to cut down their workforce.
