Dead Davos Ski Resort

Alpine town, hit by the pandemic restrictions, has turned into a quiet, idle place. Used to be visited by many, it is now like a dead city without the presence of tourists and ski lovers. Head of Davos Klosters tourism Reto Branschi said all hotels were full at this time of the year. Helicopters don’t patrol the area anymore and security officers, who used to block up the protestors last year, are not present anymore. With a record low number of tourists, the ski resort might not even see the World Economic Forum to return. Svea Meyer, the owner of café KaffeeKlatsch in Davos, who dismissed a number of staff, said regretfully there’s nothing good in the cancellation. Our friendly relationships over years will be gone.
