Shops in Mexico City Closed As Coronavirus Rises

Stores in Mexico City will have to shut down at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Temporary obligation by its government has been issued in the wake of the pandemic rise. “Non-essential” shops will be closed at 5 p.m. in busy regions in Polanco, Santa Fe and Paseo de la Reforma. Claudia Sheinbaum, Mayor of Mexico City, talked of the emergent situation without inclination to exert lasting restrictions and called for citizens to avoid gathering and stay in. The coronavirus cases have increased in Mexico City during recent weeks and the condition is expected to worsen, according to the government.
