General Motors Company recently reported of closing down its 3 plants following insufficient semiconductor. It has also faced a sluggish situation in its production. The U.S-based vehicle company might not reach the target set for 2021. A GM spokesman said the shortage will strike car production. The company is trying to resolve supply issue to terminate the impacts, he said. In the same front, a number of automakers in the world have faced issues in their production due to chip shortage. Honda UK Manufacturing shut down its major plant in Swindon last month just because of chip lack. Ford Motor Company, too, announced a factory was closed in Germany for one month. Volkswagen, another giant company in the country, in December stated 100,000 less cars will be made in this quarter due to insufficient chip.
