What is Guava?

This crop requires little maintenance and can produce a big harvest, making it very popular with fruit growers. To encourage rapid fruit production, cultivators typically propagate the guava tree from cuttings (also called grafting). The guava tree can grow at an altitude of about 5,000 feet above sea level. Extremely hot temperatures during the flowering and fruiting stages can be harmful to the crop. It requires 3 to 4 feet of water per year.
