Target Corporation is about to start up a new brand soon. Named Favorite Day, the food and beverage line is going to offer a variety of snack items, over 700 food and beverage supplies. They range from ice creams to breads, cakes, beverages and much more.
The American retail company tries to attract customers who have left stores following the pandemic. Planned to open in early April, the snack items will be delivered in stores and online through the Target's website.
Chief food and beverage officer, Rick Gomez said the initiative takes back to more than a year ago and now that people eat much during the lockdown, snacking is a nice option for spending less and bringing joy into their life.
To be competitive, Target aims to diversify its groceries; almost 2 years ago it introduced Good & Gather to develop its products, which brought in roughly $2 billion last year.
