Airbnb, the American-based rental company, announced that after delivering a draft to the Exchange Commission it has filed to go public.
The company, once valued at $31 billion, is going through a crucial era with many cancelled travels.
Following a revival in travel booking stocks Expedia and Booking Holdings, Expedia has gone 118% off March lows and Booking has flinched 60% after their damage in the first half of the year due to the pandemic.
Recent data shows that the two will hopefully witness a hike in the number of travelers. According to the Transportation Security Administration, the number of air passengers, through the checkpoints, has dropped 74% in July compared to the year before.
