CRAFT Supports Farmers for Better Yield

A project, taken over by the Climate Resilient Agribusiness for Tomorrow (CRAFT) in collaboration with the private sector, aims to assist more than 6,000 farmers and develop agriculture. Boosting production and income, the project intends to leverage private sector’s investments and support climate-smart solutions and initiatives in agriculture. Aloyce Kamuzora, the Marketing Manager told that extra funds from the CRAFT project have helped us to spend money on solar dryers and provide high-quality seeds to farmers. They will practice what they have learned in gardens to grow quality crops and gain more money. One private sector, Rogimwa Agro-Company Limited based in Mbeya Region, is cooperating with the CRAFT project in bean value chain. The project is carried out in African countries like Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. Samira H.
