It is expected that birth rate in China will drop 8% in the current year; this is while the U.S. birth record will go down 500,000.
The well-known companies in food and baby care like Reckitt Benckiser’s Enfamil and Nestle’s Gerber have faced real challenges as fewer moms purchase baby products.
While births in 2 great countries of China and the U.S. have been lowering in recent years, giants like Procter & Gamble and Huggies are planning new creative baby items to keep the industry alive. In 2019, Huggies presented diapers with plant materials, paraben and odor free.
