Apple's Deadline for U.S. Staff to Return

Apple Inc., which had delayed calling remote-working employees back to the office  due to the risk of COVID-19 infection, now plans to welcome them back by April 11, according to a memo by Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook.

 After April 11, employees will work in the office twice a week. By May 23, the memo added, in-office work will increase to three days.

Apple’s pandemic restriction have been moderately eased. It’s no longer necessary for vaccinated customers and staff to wear masks in the retail stores.

Apple is taking measure similar to those of other leading technology companies mandating return as case counts fall. Among them are Alphabet’s (GOOGL.O) Google and Twitter.

Apple Stores Locked in California As Coronavirus Intensifies

With closing 53 stores in California and 16 others in the UK, Apple company follows restrictions after coronavirus gains power again. Shut for a short period of time, Apple stated some of our stores are briefly being closed as the virus spread grows in some areas. However, the firm also declared the situation will be under control till it resumes its work again soon. The reopening date hasn’t been addressed in the statement. Customers can still order in the next few days, according to the announcement. The U.S. faces growing new cases; more than 17.4 million people are infected. And the UK is not any better; with over 2 million cases so far. Samira H.
