Apple, one of the greatest technology companies in the world, has boomed in the competitive Chinese market thanks to the reputation of the iPhone 11 series, offered at substantial discounts.
Reliable data indicates that in the second quarter, Apple smartphones have been well received in China.
The sell-through for iPhone devices in China had a year-on-year rise of 32% from April to June.
Sell-through which is a fairly reliable assessment of real sales to customers, counts iPhone devices offered for sale to Apple’s retail associates.
By comparison, China’s Huawei Technologies Co. had a sell-through of over 14% in comparison with the year before. Other famous brands in China including Vivo and Xiaomi, too, faced a dramatic decline.
The release of the iPhone 11 series a year ago caused a bounce back for the Apple company. The initiative of the company to offer considerable discounts in an online Chinese shopping festival in the last month retained this position. As well, the second-generation iPhone SE was offered at lower prices, encouraging Chinese customers to buy iPhones in large numbers.
